Students at St. Mark’s Lutheran School receive a high quality, well-rounded Christian education. The curriculum consists of subject areas commonly taught at the elementary and middle school level. The standards established by the California Department of Education are used as a guide in developing the curriculum at St. Mark’s. Subject areas taught at St. Mark’s Lutheran School consist of the following:

  • Word of God – Bible History, Catechism, Hymn Study, Memory Work
  • Mathematics – General Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra
  • Language Arts – Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Grammar, Composition
  • Social Studies – General Social Studies, U.S. History, World History, California History, Geography, Current Events
  • Science – Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science
  • Physical Education – Movement, Fitness, Sports and Games
  • The Arts – Music, Choir, Piano and Band Instrument Lessons (optional), Visual Art
  • Technology – Computer Skills and Applications
  • Spanish
