Vision and Objectives

Mission-Vision-Objectives Statement

Helping Children Grow as Jesus Grew

“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52).
It is our objective to help our students grow in the same four ways that Jesus grew:

Intellectually— he grew in wisdom
Students receive a high-quality, well-rounded Christ-centered education at St. Mark’s Lutheran School that prepares them for life in this world and eternal life in heaven. All subjects are taught in the light of God’s Word.  Students are taught that God’s Word applies to every aspect of their Christian lives.

Physically—he grew in stature
Recess, physical education, and intramural and interscholastic athletic programs are ways in which students can grow physically and use their bodies to glorify God.

Spiritually—he grew in favor with God
Students learn that God’s Word guides their Christian lives and reveals God’s plan for our salvation through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Socially—he grew in favor with men
Students learn that they can show love for God by showing love for each other.  They can do this by being kind to each other, looking out for each other’s needs, and forgiving each other.
