Cub Club 2013Cub Club

The Cub Club is designed to encourage the families of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church to be a part of the Christian education provided at St. Mark’s Lutheran School.  The Cub Club name is derived from the school’s mascot – the Lions.  Since the Cub Club includes young children from birth through age three, the club is named for a young lion cub.  The Cub Club aims to help the families and children of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church feel a part of our school family from the very beginning.  Starting at birth and continuing through age three, children receive a Cub Club birthday card.  In addition to the birthday cards, children receive a Cub Club bib at birth, a baby lion book on their first birthday, a Cub Cub T-shirt on their second birthday (pictured), and a Cub Club coloring book on their third birthday.  With each card, parents also receive a letter from our principal that familiarizes them with the blessings of the Christian education provided at St. Mark’s Lutheran School and encourages them to consider our school for their child.
